RADICAL RENOVATION – FITTING OUT OF THE BUILDING OF THE PREFECTURE OF MESSINIA (ADMINISTRATION)

This is the Building of the Prefecture of Peloponnese in Kalamata. The building with an area of ​​8000m2 is a landmark for the city. The main design objectives were the modernization of the building and the reduction of the electric energy consumption. Due to the geothermal system, the photovoltaic panels, and the Hybrid Ventilation Units with dual heat exchangers, the annual energy consumption of the building is 36 KWH / m2. Τhe building is classified as a Category A + building (limit 65 KWH / m2). HEPA H14 filter arrays and UV lamps in the air ducts, prevent viruses (Coronavirus etc.) spreading in the building through the HVAC system. The budget of the MEP installations amounts to € 3,000,000.
